A sound sample of the recently restored 1965 Gibson Skylark GA-5 12-watt tube amp.
This 1940’s Firestone radio has been converted into a hand-wired 5-watt tube guitar amplifier. It uses (1) 12AX7 preamp tube, (1) 6V6 output tube, and a 5Y3 rectifier tube. It can be connected to either a 4-ohm or 8-ohm external speaker. It has a volume control that also activates a boost/overdrive channel with a push-pull. It has an adjustable negative feedback loop. The video sample is the WASP played through a Jensen 10 inch speaker. Great tone amp that can be used as a practice amp or recording amp.
This 1949 Admiral radio has been converted into a Fender Champ-style 5-watt tube guitar amplifier. It’s hand-wired and uses (1) 12AX7preamp tube, (1) 6V6 output tube, and a 5Y3 rectifier tube. It can be connected to either a 4-ohm or 8-ohm external speaker, Speaker Not Included. It has a volume control that also activates a boost/overdrive channel with a push-pull. It has an adjustable negative feedback loop. The video sample is the Admiral Champ played through a Jensen 10-inch speaker. Great tone amp that can be used as a practice amp or recording amp.
